Women’s hockey battles back from two down, ties rival BU 3-3

The Northeastern women’s hockey team welcomed their cross-city rivals from Boston University to Matthews Arena Tuesday night for the 81st all-time meeting between the teams. The 3-3 draw was the teams’ first faceoff in 2018; the Huskies took the previous two contests earlier in the season by scores of 3-2 (OT) and 6-3.

Women’s basketball dominates Charleston

The Huskies were aggressive on both sides from the tip, pressuring the Charleston guards on defense and attacking the basket on offense. The Huskies forced six turnovers in the first quarter and converted those fastbreak opportunities into eight of their 13 first-quarter points.

The Northeastern women’s swimming and diving team raced to a decisive 182-118 dual meet win against the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont, Saturday. The meet against Vermont was the first competition for the Huskies since Dec. 2.

Women’s basketball builds momentum as CAA season continues

The Huskies have played well to start its CAA schedule, going 2-2 with wins against Towson University and at University of North Carolina at Wilmington. The team’s only in-conference losses thus far have come against Elon, the 2017 CAA champions, and James Madison, which has a 4-0 conference record.
