follow site Nelson, who graduated in 2005 with 17 shutouts and a 1.08 career goals against average in her collegiate career, is now a goalkeeper for the U.S. National Team.

__utmpk Nelson finished off her senior season with the Huskies by playing in 22 games, while allowing just 22 goals in 1,533 minutes. In saving 100 shots, Nelson compiled an .820 save percentage. She had an 18-4 record with seven shutouts.

follow url “I played in our game against Canada in August,” Nelson said. “We won that game. Other than that, I gotta work my way up the ranks.” Nelson led the Americans to a 6-0 win in that Sept. 4 matchup. Right now, she is preparing for another matchup with the Canadians, this time with much higher stakes.
