Bestseller to speak on campus

Acclaimed author, composer and jazz saxophonist James McBride will bring his ideas and thoughts on heritage, identity and race to students on Thursday at 8 p.m. in Blackman Auditorium.

Author of the New York times Bestseller, “The Color of Water: A Black Man’s Tribute to his White Mother,” McBride hopes his presentation, a mixture of speaking and music, will leave students with ideas about how they can search for a place in the world.
