Commentary: Group cooperation proves to be successful plan

On Sept. 7, 2006, the Office of Special Support Services and the Legacy 2000 Mentoring Program held the Black and Latino New Student Orientation in the Curry Student Center Ballroom. In front of a packed house of students, faculty, and administrators, the Legacy 2000 Student Mentors performed skits to entertain, inform and welcome this newest group of Huskies to Northeastern.

The success of this event would not have been possible without the level of commitment and collaboration of many individuals and offices across the campus and surrounding communities of Boston. All of us in the Office of Special Support Services would like to extend our sincere appreciation and thanks to everyone involved.
