This was a taste of the lengths some students proved they are willing to go to garner enough votes to win this year’s coveted Homecoming King and Queen crowns.
The annual “Meet the Court” event unveiled the 11 upperclassmen competing for votes in the Curry Student Center Ballroom last night. The candidates, each nominated by the organizations they belong to, underwent four events that tested brains, brawn, teamwork and individual talent.
The nominees for King are senior industrial engineering major Sergio Marerro, junior marketing major Mike Sovak, junior political science major Jason Catherman and senior biology major Smith Anderson.
