Letter: Committee addressing InfoCommons issues

This letter is in response to an All Hail column in the Nov. 15 edition of The News regarding service issues in the InfoCommons. We in Information Services recognize these issues, particularly with workstation availability and printing services, and apologize for any difficulties experienced by our student customers.

In addition to focusing on resolving the issues, we are working collaboratively with the newly formed Student Government Association ad hoc Academic Technological Resource Committee to develop both short and long term service improvements.

This committee was created by SGA Vice Presidents MJ Paradiso ([email protected]) and Susan Dye ([email protected]). Anyone with suggestions or information that could help us improve service in the InfoCommons is welcome to send an email to Susan, MJ or me ([email protected]).
