Molly Simpson walked through the arrivals gate at Logan Airport a year ago. She was one of the last passengers off the plane, cherishing her final moments with friends – her “equipo.”
Equipo is Spanish for team, and was the name Simpson’s tight-knit group of friends had given themselves during their four and a half month stay in Spain, where they met.
They were then forced to say a rushed goodbye before greeting their families – putting an end to their European adventure and returning to their former lives.
