A plan to renovate Matthews Arena and add an adjacent facility for club sports and other events is in the works and could cost about $25 million.
The board of trustees will review and may approve a loan, at their March 1 meeting. The loan would largely pay for the new residence hall proposed for the corner of Ruggles and Tremont Streets, as well as the bond for Matthews renovations and the new recreation facility.
