Best pizza: CAPPY’S PIZZA

Edging out last year’s winner BHOP, Cappy’s Pizza was voted students’ favorite place for a cheesy slice of pie.

Whether fulfilling a late-night craving or stopping by for lunch, Cappy’s provides a full complement of wings, mozzarella sticks and other tasty side dishes, along with its legendary pizza.

With two convenient locations, students never have to go far. The Westland location is just minutes from Kennedy and Smith halls, while the Huntington location is right on Northeastern’s main drag.

If the walk is still daunting, Cappy’s delivers and is open until 2 a.m. They also open bright and early at 6:30 a.m., serving up breakfast items like omelets and french toast. And for those who don’t really feel like pizza, there’s pasta, subs, burgers, salads and even seafood.

Jenna Urquhart, a middler physics major and president of the Facebook group “Cappy is my Homeboy,” has been a fan of the eatery since her freshman year in Kennedy Hall. She now lives in an apartment on Hemenway Street, and is still a frequent customer.

“Our main reason for choosing that apartment was because it was across from Cappy’s,” Urquhart said.
