Financial aid deadlines and information

Unsure of what you need to do to qualify for financial aid? Although this year’s deadlines have passed, the Office of Student FInancial Services has provided all the info students need to ensure they are properly considered for financial aid every year.

First-year students – All first-year students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the College Scholarship Service’s PROFILE application forms. The priority filing deadline is February 15.

Transfer students – All transfer students must complete and file the FAFSA and College Scholarship Service’s PROFILE application forms. The priority filing deadline is May.

Returning students – All returning students must complete and file the FAFSA. The priority filing deadline is March 1.

School of Professional and Continuing Studies Students – All part-time students must complete and file the FAFSA and the Institutional Application. The 2006-07 Institutional Application is available online at the Office of Student Financial Services website. Students must apply by May 1.

Graduate Students – Both new and returning graduate students interested in applying for financial aid are only required to fill out the FAFSA form. The priority filing deadline is March 1.

Law Students – All law students must complete and file the FAFSA. The new student priority filing deadline is February 15. The returning students priority filing deadline is March 15.
