Take, for instance, when Grammy producers thought it would be a good idea to pair up the Jonas Brothers with Stevie Wonder for an on-air collaboration. The result wasn’t good. But then, there are combos that are unexpectedly well done. Joe Goode Performance Group’s show with puppeteer Basil Twist combines dance, text, songs and puppets. You can’t go wrong. http://dinoprojektet.se/?kapitanse=jobba-hemma-dagen-2017&5d9=4e Going to a concert to see a relatively unknown act can be perilous. Who wants to be stuck in some underground club next to total strangers listening to the latest pop/rock radio reject singing songs about parties? No one, that’s who. But, this won’t be the case at the Butch Walker concert. He was the writer and producer for some of Avril Lavigne’s songs, but sounds nothing like her (thankfully). Check him out at Paradise Rock Club at 967 Commonwealth Ave.; 8 p.m.; $18; 617-562-8800.
