Monday, Nov. 6

8:50 a.m.

A Boston University Police officer reported stopping an intoxicated Northeastern University student at 1:02 a.m. Nov. 5. The student admitted to consuming alcohol and was transported to the Boston Medical Center for further evaluation. A report was filed.

1:13 p.m.

The manager of Wollaston’s Market in the Marino Recreation Center reported detaining an aggressive shoplifter. Northeastern University Police Department responded and reported stopping the individual, who was unaffiliated with NU and who had a warrant out for his arrest. He was placed under arrest for the warrant. A report was filed.

3:02 p.m.

An NU student reported his bike was stolen from outside Ryder Hall. A report was filed.

5:30 p.m.

A confidential indecent assault and battery case occurred on campus. A report was filed.

8:07 p.m.

BPD reported shots fired near the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Huntington Avenue. An NUPD officer reported a person shot inside a vehicle in front of 333 Massachusetts Ave. The victim, who was unaffiliated with NU, was transported to the Boston Medical Center. BPD reported that a witness observed a vehicle leaving the area at a high speed outbound on The Fenway from Haviland Street when the shots were fired. The witness reported seeing an arm hanging from the driver’s side window but was unsure if the individual driving had a firearm. NUPD reported assisting BPD by transporting several witnesses to BPD headquarters. A report was filed. BPD assumed jurisdiction.

Tuesday, Nov. 7

11:01 a.m.

A confidential indecent assault and battery case occurred on campus. A report was filed.

12:22 p.m.

An NU student reported another NU student ripped her jacket and then attempted to grab her hair during an altercation several days prior to Oct. 31. A report was filed.

2:59 p.m.

An NU student reported her bicycle was stolen from outside East Village. A report was filed.

Wednesday, Nov. 8

11:46 a.m.

An NU student reported his bicycle was stolen from the stairs outside Snell Library. A report was filed.

1:25 p.m.

The manager of Wollaston’s Market in the Marino Recreation Center reported detaining a shoplifter. NUPD responded and reported banning the individual, who was an NU student, from both Wollaston’s Market locations and sending him on his way. A report was filed.

1:53 p.m.

A confidential domestic violence incident occurred on Columbus Avenue. A report was filed.

Thursday, Nov. 9

10:57 a.m.

An NU staff member reported receiving an email from another NU staff member reporting that while conducting class in Dodge Hall, there was a strong odor of marijuana on several occasions. A report was filed.

11:01 a.m.

An NU student reported her bicycle was stolen. A report was filed.

Saturday, Nov. 11

1:45 a.m.

The proctor at West Village A reported a female NU student swiped into the building and vomited in the lobby before proceeding to her room. NUPD responded and reported the student was intoxicated but not in need of medical attention, and was over the age of 21. NUPD further reported the student never vomited in the lobby.

1:59 a.m.

An RA reported an NU student was intoxicated and vomiting in an East Village room. NUPD responded and requested Boston Emergency Medical Services, or EMS, who transported the student to the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital for further evaluation. The residence director was notified. A report was filed.

2:39 a.m.

An NUPD officer requested an additional officer for an intoxicated NU student. NUPD requested  EMS, who cleared the student. NUPD further reported the student was under the age of 21. A report was filed.

Sunday, Nov. 12

1:52 a.m.

An RA reported an intoxicated NU student in an East Village room. NUPD responded and reported the student was conscious, but not alert, and was vomiting. NUPD requested EMS. Upon EMS arrival, the student refused all medical attention and was transported to her residence in Speare Hall. A report was filed.
